Intelligent Testing and Analysis of Dissimilar Steel Welds for Industrial Throttle Flowmeter

نویسندگان

چکیده

The throttling flowmeter used in utility boilers has been as a measuring instrument for long time. However, its safety performance, such welding, lacks enough attention. manufacturing welds of the are welded with austenitic stainless steel and pearlitic heat-resistant steel. Cracks other defects generally found inspection detection flowmeters service, which have serious potential accidents. To find out relationship between weldingdissimilar steels defects, microhardness indentation method was to measure residual stress welding. Combined self-developed calculation software microscopic distribution, we difference color area surrounding quickly strain collected by microscope using computer image recognition algorithm, greatly improved accuracy speed test. results show that at weld dissimilar is relatively large, mechanical property test unqualified. microindentation analysis based on quickly, intuitively, accurately reveal direct combination welding materials generation cracks defects.

Investigation of microstructures and mechanical properties of dissimilar welds between Incoloy 825 and 316 stainless steel

In this study, microstructural features and mechanical properties of Incoloy 825-316L stainless steel dissimilar joints have been investigated. For this purpose, pulsed gas tungsten arc welding method was employed and 316L, Inconel 82 and Inconel 625 alloys were used as filler metal. First, specimens were cut. Pulsed gas tungsten arc welding was performed using peak and base currents of 220 A a...

AN EVALUATION OF THERMAL STABILITY IN DISSIMILAR WELDS BETWEEN 310 STAINLESS STEEL AND ALLOY 657

Abstract: The investigation is carried out to characterize welding of AISI 310 austenitic stainless steel to Inconel 657 nickel-chromium superalloy. The welds were produced using four types of filler materials: the nickel-based corresponding to Inconel 82, Inconel A, Inconel 617 and austenitic stainless steel 310. This paper describes the effects of aging treatment on the joint. The compara...

A Comparative Evaluation of Welding Consumables for Dissimilar Welds between 310 Austenitic Stainless Steel and Inconel 657

The current work was carried out to characterize welding of AISI 310 austenitic stainless steel to Inconel 657 nickel-chromium superalloy. The welds were produced using four types of filler materials; the nickel-based corresponding to Inconel 82, Inconel A, Inconel 617 and austenitic stainless steels 310. Of the two joints involved, this paper describes the choice of welding consumables for the...
